This property is a top range hotel and considered to be one
of the best for diving. Accommodation is offered in water

Makunudu Island, North Malé Atoll (M)
This attractive resort has 36 traditional thatched bungalows
along the sea front of this six acre island. The rooms have
twin or queen sized beds and open air bathrooms. Makunudu
offers a variety of water sports including SCUBA diving (PADI
and SSI) and has a particularly good house reef.

Kurumba, North Malé Atoll (L)
One of the closest resorts to the airport which means that
visiting Malé for sightseeing and shopping is also easy.
This top of the range resort has recently been totally
refurbished and offers a wide range of facilities including
two swimming pools, a wide choice of restaurants, spa, gym,
tennis etc. Kurumba offers a choice of accommodation
including luxury pool villas.

Kuramathi Island, Rashdu Atoll (T – M)
We can offer a range of resorts on Kuramathi. They all have
good rooms and offer good value for money. Cottage Club has
water bungalows with balcony, built on stilts over the sea,
as well as beach bungalows with outdoor shower. Coconut
Village has sea-facing thatched bungalows with spacious
bedrooms in a small enclave by a long sandy beach. Blue
Lagoon at the top end of the island has beach rooms and
water bungalows and the cheapest option is The Village which
has thatched sea-facing bungalows. Guests staying at all
resorts have the use of the facilities within their own
resort as well as (for a modest cost) a well equipped
leisure centre including a large freshwater swimming pool,
sauna, gym and beauty salon in the middle of the island.
There is a Thai and Indian restaurant and spectacular diving
with hammerhead sharks regularly seen.
Transfer: 90 minutes by boat or 20 minutes by seaplane. |
