Ann awaits visitors to this home situated in a delightful
position on the outskirts of Coonoor. The house is full of
‘memorabilia’ and the home cooking is wonderful. If the
weather is bad preventing visitors from sightseeing, there
is plenty to occupy them within the house including an
extensive library and billiards room. |

Jungle Retreat,Mudamalai (S - M)
This wildlife resort offers access to both Mudamalai (in
Tamil Nadu) and Bandipur (in Karnataka) and is conveniently
situated on the road running south from Mysore. The
reception/dining area is simple but they have some good
quality rooms. They also have some basic rooms and a simple
treehouse. The resort has a swimming pool with a stunning
backdrop of rocky hills. Jeep safaris and guided walks are
offered in the area. |
