| The northern
part of India has a lot to attract the visitor. The ‘Golden
Triangle’ of Delhi, Agra (the Taj Mahal) and Jaipur is often
the first introduction to this wonderful country. The desert
state of Rajasthan is culturally rich with colourful people,
interesting cities and wonderful landscapes.
The Mughal architecture is magnificent and the Hindu
temples at Orchha and Khajuraho are equally impressive.
There are numerous wildlife sanctuaries in this area and
these parks offer the best chance of seeing animals in their
