Imperial Hotel, Delhi (L, H)
Built in 1931 (by an associate of Lutyens) this hotel was conceived to be Delhi’s most luxurious – a blend of Victorian, colonial and Art Deco. The hotel owns a huge collection of art that is displayed (and regularly changed). Thus the Imperial Hotel is an art gallery and museum as well as a wonderful place to stay. It is within walking distance of Connaught Place and has elegant gardens and swimming pool. The Spice Route is considered to be one of Delhi’s best restaurants.

The Manor,Delhi (L, B)
With just 10 rooms in an exclusive residential area this stylish boutique hotel makes a good alternative to the larger hotels of Delhi. Although there is no pool or spa we would describe it as luxury and there are spa facilities near by.
